CAREFULLY DESIGNED SCAFFOLDING SOLUTIONS.
Heritage and listed buildings can be tricky to work on due to their age, shape, size and fragility of materials. For any renovation work, a careful approach must be taken when it comes to scaffolding to avoid causing any unintentional damage.
Our scaffolders pay close attention to detail during the design and installation stage to ensure high standards of safety are maintained whilst protecting the property. If you need to organise scaffolding for a listed building, get in touch with us today.
HOW DO WE PROTECT THE BUILDING WE’RE WORKING ON?
As an experienced scaffolding company, we have many techniques in place to ensure our scaffolding leaves no permanent marks on your building. This includes:
-
Galvanised scaffolding poles – this help to avoid the risk of rust stains.
-
End caps – any poles that touch or are in close contact with a surface are covered with plastic end caps.
-
Load spreading – timber sole plates are used to spread the weight of the scaffolding on the ground.
-
Removing windows temporarily– in some cases it is best to carefully remove windows to allow ties to be put in place.
-
Weather protection – all boards are secured tightly in case of high winds and structures are earthed to protect from lightning strikes where appropriate.
